Mikey ~ 3.5yr Old Maltese X(On trial 22/3/21

Meet Mikey the 3.5YO tri coloured Maltese X weighing approximately 7kg. This little guy loves his cuddles and is very affectionate. Did we also mention he’s obedient too?

He loves his daily walks and initially pulls when he knows it’s time for it! He’s just curious about everything happening in the world outside of his home like his foster sister however he is not an issue to walk. He socialises well with other dogs and is currently living with his foster sister who is a 2 year old Jack Russell. In his current home Mikey has not been exposed to cats or pocket pets.

Mikey is toilet trained and sleeps well during the night, probably due to all the energy he burns during the day! He does get a bit cranky when it comes to bedtime though! He does love to have a snuggle with his foster parents before bedtime and tries to push the boundaries by inching further up the bed. Mikey gets a bit snappy and growls when it’s time for bed (like all kids growing up - haha)! He does know to head to the laundry eventually with his foster sister to settle for the night. During the day it seems like he is a completely different dog! Both Mikey and his foster sister are outside when no one is home and knows how to make use of the doggy door.

Mikey has three foster children he lives with and one of his favourite is his 11 year old human foster brother, he likes to curl up at his feet! Mikey ’s ideal home would preferably be with a family who has another dog for companionship, otherwise he would really love for someone to be home more often than not. He would be best suited to a home with children that are 10 years and older. All that Mikey wishes for is a stable home where his humans are able to love and cherish him forever and ever.
