Jack Was Rusty

This hairy little cutie is Rusty. Rusty is just a young hound who is still finding his way in the world.

Rusty is a friendly guy and he gets along well with dogs of all shapes and sizes. He seems to take a lot of confidence from having calm adult dogs around so we think Rusty may do well in a home with an older dog to show him the ropes. He likes to snuggle and share *everything* with his friends, so any friends for Rusty would need to be A-OK with his up-close and personal style.

While in foster, Rusty thought it was funny to chase the household cats so we think he would be best in a home with no feline friends. Otherwise, Rusty was a dream dog to have inside the house and behaved very well in a rural environment. He settles well overnight on his bed and is clean inside.

Rusty needs someone to help him feel confident and safe when left alone. Our Senior Animal Trainer is on hand and happy to help with Rusty's transition into his new home.
