Hello, my name is Pooky! I have been surrendered to the shelter due to my owners poor health. They sung my praises though, and said that I am a lovely boy (which I am). In saying this, I found the shelter a very overwhelming place on arrival so the staff have given me medication to help with my stress levels. I'm feeling a lot better now! I love people and would adore a family who has a lot of time to spend with me. I have been very spoilt previously and have a few belongings that I can take with me to my new home. I am definitely in need of a home without young children or other pets, given that I like my own space and other animals make me uncomfortable. If you are in need of a foot warmer every winter in the foreseeable future, and a shadow all year round, I would love to make your acquaintance!
