Our gorgeous mumma Edwina is ready to find her forever humans. Known as Eddie to her friends, she arrived into our care as a private surrender with her 4 kittens. She was a fantastic mother, and raised 4 gorgeous babies who took after her sweet and loving personality.
Eddie LOVES being loved. She throws herself at you for cuddles and attention. She's a bit of an attention seeker, and would love a home where her family got to spend lots of time with her, or a family who worked from home. Eddie has proven to make a very good office assistant. She sits on your paperwork perfectly, plays with your computer cords, and smooches your face if you spend too much time looking at the computer and not enough time giving her love.
Edwina has met another female cat of a similar age and has been getting along with her well. She's a young and playful girl and wouldn't be suited to a home with older, or quieter cats. Eddie doesn't seem bothered by dogs, but would need slow and correct introductions with dogs in her new home.

Adoption details
If you would like to know more information about any of our rescue animals, our rescue group, or to arrange a meet and greet, please email us. Please provide us with your name, email address, contact number, and some information about yourself, and the home you have to offer one of our rescue animals.
Please understand that Gary and the Handicats is run by a Vet Nurse who works 2 jobs and also cares for sick and high needs rescue animals. We strive to get back to you within 24 hours, but during busy kitten seasons their may be a delay. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Please note we do not run on a "first in first served" basis. We screen applicants well before proceeding with adoption. Vet and rental references may be required for certain special needs adoptions.
We receive a large amount of interest in our handraised kittens, and certain special needs animals. Please understand that if you're application isn't successful, this may just be due to the amount of applications we have had for that particular animal, and not because of the home you have to offer. Preference is always given to our past adopters.
