About Bonnie
Adoption Fee: $300
Bonnie is looking for a very special family to belong to, who have the patience and kindness to welcome her into their lives and give her the time she needs to settle gradually into her new home. Bonnie is a lovely girl but she can be cautious around people. She loves to play with her toys and with other cats. She enjoys sitting up on her cat tree and hammock, from where she can survey the world around her. She's happy to be petted when she is up high, and has a beautiful loud purr; but can be wary if approached while she is on the ground.
Bonnie is fully litter trained and used to an enclosed litter box. Given her shy nature she would do best in a home without young children who might be too much for her. She is untested with dogs.
If you are the special kind of person who can be patient with a timid and deserving kitten and feel you can offer her a loving and patient home where she can settle in slowly, to blossom and reveal her true nature, then beautiful Bonnie is waiting just for you.
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, first F3 vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age (see list below).
*This kitten may require further vaccination/s to complete the vaccination course. These will be at the cost of the new owner (not included in the adoption fee).
ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen kitten is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.
Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
As this kitten is under 6 months old, one of the following approved vet clinics should be selected by the adopter to arrange for his/her sterilisation by the age of 6 months. The sterilisation surgery is included in the adoption fee:
Blair Street Veterinary Hospital, Bunbury
Busselton Veterinary Hospital, Busselton
Ninth Street Vet Clinic, Harvey
Halls Head Small Animal Clinic, Halls Head
Caryn Vet Hospital, Edgewater
Challenger Vet, Kwinana
Kingsley Veterinary Hospital, Kingsley
Ocean Keys Vet, Clarkson
South Metropolitan TAFE Vet Clinic, Bentley (during semester)
Swan Veterinary Hospital, Midvale
Albany Vet Hospital, Albany
Swans Vet Service, Esperance
Please ask us for more information on arranging sterilisation of your pet if you live outside the Bunbury area.
