About Sol
Hello friends, my name is Sol!
Luckily for me and my siblings, Silver Lining stepped in and took us on when we needed it the most! I currently share my foster home with humans of all ages and a few other animals. It is busy around here but my brothers and I are super resilient and have taken everything in our stride and adjusted really well to our surroundings and think ourselves pretty lucky indeed! !
I have a lovely soft, fluffy coat of mostly black, however pop me in the sun and my colour turns to a beautiful chocolate brown which suits me to a tee because I am the same kind of warm and delicious that a hot chocolate provides! Of my siblings, I am the quietest but also the most snuggly and sweet. Boy oh boy can I purr like mad! My foster mama wonders if my purring hurts, its so deep and wholesome. I am always the first to join the party when its time for a cuddle on the bed or the couch. I love my foster humans and love the company that the other foster kitties provide.
If you want a snuggle-puss that reminds you of hot chocolate on a warm winters day, then you might want me!
(Please note: all our cats kittens are adopted as inside only)

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
