About Queenie
QUEENIE is a 1.5 year old female American Bulldog who came to MBRC from a Sydney pound.
Queenie loves love!! Her favourite thing is to cuddle her humans and get affection. Queenie loves her food and would be happiest spending her day around humans to keep her company. She is a low energy dog who enjoys a short play / run around but tires quickly and wants to get back to the lounge for a snooze.
Queenie needs lots of encouragement to take a walk, she is very timid of people / animals / vehicles like noisy buses she isn't familiar with. Queenie needs an adopter who will be patient and gentle to help her with exposure to new things over time. Queenie is more suitable to live in a quiet home in the suburbs rather than the inner city.
Queenie is great with kids, she's a gentle girl.
Queenie doesn't like other dogs, she needs a new home without existing pets.
Queenie has learned some simple commands - stay, wait, sit, shaking hands, down and drop it - she loves to play fetch and get her favourite treats as a reward.
Queenie needs a home in SYDNEY, but can also be transported to MELBOURNE

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
