About Koda
Hi everyone. My name is Koda (little bear) and I am looking for a home.
I was found as a stray and the local vet kept me for a month but no one came forward to claim me.
I know you are asking how such a good looking young man like myself could be a homeless, I am just as gobsmacked as you are.
The local vet put out a call for a rescue to come forward to help me and Silver Lining Pet Rescue stepped up to the plate. Here I am now in foster care waiting for the right person / people to realise what a great find I am and take me home forever.
I have slotted into my foster home with such ease. I have made immediate friends with the resident cats and I am sure I could be friends with dogs with the correct introduction.
Smooches are mandatory as I am a born “ peoples” cat . There is nothing better than a good cuddle, and as soon as you decide it’s bedtime I am right there with you. Well to be honest anywhere you are I am right there with you.
Now that you have realised that I am indeed a great find contact Silver Lining and let’s get the ball rolling to get me home with you.
(Please note: all our cats kittens are adopted as inside only)

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
