About Fred ~ 9 week old kitten (on trial 06/04/2021)
This young fellow is a little pocket rocket. His name is Fred or Freddie and he is around 9 weeks old. He would love a new home that is full of fun and someone who will love his energy.
Fred is super playful and we often lose him, only to find him playing and bouncing around with one of his toys.
He loves other cats and at the moment is in care with 3 adult cats and with Lavina, another 1 year old foster cat who he adores. They play constantly. He has also been introduced to two medium size, cat friendly dogs who he has been giving a wide berth but slowly finding out that they are not that bad. So if you have a cat friendly dog, we are sure with slow introductions, Fred would be fine. We also think he would love the company of another playful cat.
Fred was in a country pound and was very grateful to be busted out of. He has obviously been someone’s pet as he is too friendly not to have been.
Fred doesn’t mind a quick cuddle and loves a tummy rub but this doesn’t last long as he just wants to play. He would make a great family fur baby but thinking above the age of 10 years old would suit best as he hasn’t realised yet that claws have to be put away to play. Anyone that adopts Fred will love him!
Fred needs to be an inside boy unless you have a safe area for him to venture such as a cat enclosure. He would love to be harness trained and go on adventures as he is a curious little man. He is litter trained and not a fussy eater.
Fred has been microchipped and vaccinated but can only be adopted within the Newcastle, Hunter, Central Coast area as he will need to be desexed by a DRN affiliate vet before he is 4 months old.
His adoption fee is $250 and he is in foster care in Merewether Heights, NSW. Please click on this link to apply! https://form.jotform.co/93127959159875
