On Hold
About Peter ~ 7 month old (on trial 30/05/2021)
Straight outta the retirement home and into your heart, this is Papa Pete!
...ok bit of an exaggeration. Little fellow’s only 7 months old. But if you’re after the absolute sweetest, most caring old soul who hugs like a grandpa and tells jokes like your dad, Peter is your man.
Despite being just a tiny baby himself, peter is a calm, gentle, absolute darling of a cat who loves nothing more than sitting with his family and purring softly. He adores pats and scratches, often leaning into you with his eyes closed and accidentally falling asleep sitting up. Of course Peter is still a kitten, and if you bust out the toys he roars into wild hunter mode!
Peter has taken on the role of grandpa with the other foster kittens in his foster home. He can often be found cuddled up with them, grooming them, and imparting lots of worldly wisdom that he learned from watching 60 Minutes last week. He is patient and gentle with every baby that comes into his care, including his boisterous foster brother dog. Peter is particularly attached to his sister-from-another-mister Jemima (see her profile here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/848491), and would love to be rehomed with her if possible. If not, he would love another cat or someone who can spend lots of time with him.
Peter’s foster family are VERY attached to him (for obvious reasons!) and are hoping to find him a wonderful home where he can be loved, appreciated and doted on. Peter is available to an indoor only home or one with a cat enclosure, and his adoption fee is $200. This covers his desexing, microchip, first vaccination and flea and worm treatment.
Peter is in foster care in Wallsend. If you’re interested in adopting Peter, please fill out our application form: https://form.jotform.co/93127959159875

(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
