This boy is just a big powerful playful puppy and at 30kg has some weight behind his zoomies. He is so affectionate and cuddly, and loves to bend himself into a pretzel to supervise the butt scratches, make sure you’re hitting the spot. He sleeps (and snores) soundly on his bed at night, he is house trained and shows no issues around food. Gentle when taking treats and with those big brown eyes patiently waits for a second go.. loves to high five and shake hands.. and loves loves loves to hold hands - he is just a big goofy love bug.

At 13 months, it appears he has missed out on some training in the manners department when playing with other dogs... he is very strong on lead and is learning to walk on the halti by your side.. but his sniffing gets the better of him on occasion, so you will experience the random shoulder jolt, he is also learning to sit and wait at intersections (with some persuasion but is getting better)

He has some nervous reactivity if a dog passing by barks at him and jumps around like a kangaroo he will need some training, socialisation and reassurance for correction. He does not react to dogs when they are also calm with him.

He has engaged with a tiny jack Russell on a walk and just sat and watched while he was weaving in between his legs - super cute! He absolutely loves human interactions and flutters his big brown eyes for pats from passer-by’s, and doesn’t mind the lean in for a good belly rub.

Hennessy at 30kg already is a big powerful boy and likes to wrestle and play rough and tumble, he enjoyed body slamming his cocker spaniel brother a bit during a play session, his parents will need to ensure play is suitable for all shapes and sizes through socialisation and training.

The home best suited for Hennessey is one that will take training and further socialisation seriously to ensure pleasurable and controlled interactions. He is very agile and bouncy - loves a cuddle and will get up on his hind legs to look you in the eye .. he just wants to be around his human. He sometimes mouths like a puppy so definitely no young kids, small dogs and is untested with cats.

He is a very clever dog and eager to please in the short time he’s been with his carer he has learnt to submit for food, waits and does not rush through the door first, and sits at lights.

Hennessy would benefit from having an older doggy brother or sister to play with as he craves interactions wither dogs.

Hennessy is a wonderful affectionate pup who would love nothing more than to snuggle and snore up next to you on the couch, this stunning boy certainly does deserve his happily ever after.
