Oh Dear! Who will love me?

I’m a confident 9-year-old Pomeranian cross with alopecia X. It doesn’t cause me any distress although I do admit it spoils my looks. I have a bare neck, rump and tail and my fur feels rough. Apart from missing teeth and have the need for regular dental check-ups, I’m in good health.

I’m alert, energetic and interested in everything. I may not obey many commands but I’m house-trained and use the dog door like a pro. I have a little barking problem that my foster carer is helping me with. I don’t care about cats and birds, but possums and bats get me going at night.

I love my walks. I love to sniff at and wee on everything. I trot along nicely on the lead and don’t pull. And, oh yes! I bark at other dogs just to let them know who’s boss. At home, I get along with the other dogs but don’t want to be their pal. I think I would like to be the only doggo in your family. At night I love sitting on the couch, with you giving me a gentle brush and a scratch on my head. I sleep in my own bed and love to have an afternoon snooze on your bed, I hope you don’t mind. So, what’s not to love?
