Roxy - On Trial

This pretty girl is roxy, she has been surrendered to us due to her owner no longer being able to care for her. We have been told she is acd x mastiff, however her bone structure is quite fine and she has a longer, soft coat, so we are not entirely sure of her breeding. She is a very sweet natured puppy, she is playful but not boisterous at all. Roxy is quite timid when she first meets new dogs or people, but once she knows she can trust you she will be your best friend. Roxy is very well behaved, she does not jump up and she likes to please her human, and this will be of benefit with her future training. She has had limited interaction with people and other dogs, so will need a lot of socialisation in various situations, at this stage we think she would be more suitable in a home with older children (or no children at all), as she is often startled by sudden movement and noises. Roxy gets along well with our three year old staffy, and has become quite attached to him, so we feel she would do better in a home where she has another dog to be her buddy and keep her company when her owners are not home. She is still learning how to walk on a lead but is getting much better, she sits on command, can use the doggy door and is almost fully house trained. Roxy is such a special girl and although she will need a lot of tlc to settle into her new home, she will make a very loyal and loving companion in the long term
