BABE of the Aussie Movie Litter is a very beautiful female kelpie puppy born on 15 December 2020.

She has a gorgeous, rather unusual, cream and white coat. Genetically, this is the same colour as the cream of a Golden Labrador Retriever's coat. In genetic terminology, cream in a Kelpie is actually a recessive red. https://www.kelpiegallery.se/colour-genetics/colours-of-kelpie

Although Babe might be exceptional in the colour stakes, she has a temperament just like other kelpies - sweet, highly intelligent, alert and very trainable.

She has been well socialised and is good with older children, though is probably too exuberant for young ones. On the dominant-submissive spectrum, she has a natural inclination towards dominance so will probably want to be boss of other dogs in the household - and the humans, if they let her get away with it.

Babe is house-trained, crate-trained and lead-trained.

Kelpies can make great family pets, loyal companions and excellent watchdogs. They have an exceptionally high IQ and may get into mischief if left to their own devices. They require plenty of exercise, and will become bored if stuck in a backyard for lenthy periods without stimulation or company.

The secret to bringing the best out in a kelpie is to keep her occupied and well loved.
A kelpie's greatest joy is the love and attention of an active owner or family, while her greatest disappointment is inactivity and lack of attention.

Kelpies are eager to please and extremely loyal. Wherever their humans are, that's where they'll be too - whether that's out in a boat, in the back of a car, going for a walk, training for agility competitions or herding, or just watching television in the evening.

To be happy and content, BABE will need plenty of vigorous daily exercise and play. Secure fencing is a must. Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time. Prior breed experience will be viewed favourably.
