Hi! My name is Haze and I’m looking for my forever home.

I have plenty of love to give and I absolutely LOVE being with my humans, following them around and chilling out with them. I kind of think I make a great lap dog and if you give me the chance, I’ll try and curl up on yours. My favourite things in life are rolling in the grass, peanut butter in Kongs, going on walks, playing tug-of-war and rides in the car. Oh, that is so much fun! Feeling the breeze and letting my big lips flap in the wind!

I’m pretty good with my basic obedience and walking on the lead. My foster family walk me on a head Halti and although I didn't like it at first, I do enjoy my walks so I learnt to live with it. I’m quite a strong girl and it’s important that you keep introducing me to new friends. I know my basic commands such as sit, stay, mat, shake, wait and although I can be stubborn sometimes, with consistency I’ll just keep getting better. I sleep inside at night and don’t jump on the furniture unless you invite me up. I rarely bark and storms don’t bother me.

My ideal family would be one with another friendly dog of similar size or a member of the family home a lot. I don’t really like to be left alone too much but if you keep me stocked with peanut butter Kongs and toys to play with, I’ll cope just fine for those times you can’t be home with me or take me with you. I am still learning not to jump on people so a family willing to continue to teach me good manners would be great. I would be suited to older children as I would hate to knock the little ones over. I have lived with cats before and tended to just ignore them but it has been a while, so a dog-savvy cat would be best.
