About Narla ~ 1yr Old Staffy X(on trial 8/05/21)
Hi my name is Narla. I’m just over one year old, a female, Staffy X. Dog Rescue Newcastle are helping my owners find a new home for me.
I have lived with my current owner since I was a puppy, but we aren’t the best match. I’m looking for someone who has the time to train me and give me the attention I crave.
I’m am a very friendly girl, who has lots of love to give. I currently live with another dog and am dog friendly with unknown dogs.
I do get excited when people come out to see me and I can be a bit jumpy, which is why I am best in a home without young children and one who is committed to the initial training I will require. I am not suited to a home with rural or mesh fencing as I might go looking for a new adventure, but I would be fine with standard suburban fencing. I would be fine in a new home with full time workers, provided they had lots of time for me when they finished work. I would love it if someone didn’t work full time or worked from home sometime.
I get along well with other dogs. But I can play a bit rough so am not suited for small dogs. I would need to meet any dogs in my new household. I have a basic level of training, but I need some work on my recall. I also walk well on a lead. I am also is housetrained, but am currently an outside dog. I would love to be welcomed inside some of the time and ideally sleep inside as I sometimes bark at visiting wildlife and other noises outside at night. I am untested with cats and pocket pets.
I am currently living with my owners in Port Stephens, NSW. If you are interested in adopting me then please fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt . The Dog Rescue Newcastle volunteer helping find me a new home, Lauren will review these applications carefully to make sure my new home is the perfect fit for me.

My adoption fee is $400 which includes desexing, vaccination, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms
