About Ricky
Hi everyone, my name is Ricky and I am Mr Snuggles. I love nothing better than to be snuggled in your arms, preferably with me laying on my back, cradled like a baby. I can stay like that for ages, purring away. I’m not really a lap cat as I prefer to be snuggled in your arms.
I’m from the Fraser Coast street colony/community cats, and I am still a little wary of strangers. If you come and visit me, please be patient and understanding that I don't know you so, to me, you are a stranger. I get a bit nervous when hands come over top of me and I back away but I do love pats and chin scratches once I realise it is safe. I also love to play with my foster sisters who are about my age, and I love my big foster brother Benny, so friendly big cats are not an issue for me. I get scared when I hear dogs bark around the neighbourhood so I’m probably not good around dogs.
I love all my toys and I especially love to chase the red dot. I’m sure I’ve caught it a few times but, when I look, it has gone! How that happens, I don’t know because my foster Mumma tells me I’m a good hunter. I can also be rather vocal at times. Like when I’ve not seen my foster Mumma for a bit, I call out to her from my room but once she answers me, I’m normally ok. It’s like I just want to confirm she is there still. My foster Mumma also says I have the cutest little squeaks when I’m exploring things. Not really meows, but inquisitive squeaks a bit like a guinea pig. I have no issues using the litter box and I’m a good eater, too. I love my cat grass too, as you can see in the video (until I realised my foster Mumma was videoing me and I had to leave).
I can be adopted by myself or I can go with Smokey (and Ash, too, if you want a big family), who is my adopted little sister whom I love and she loves me.
