Profile
Shylo is a very sweet, happy, quiet, and easy-going 3-year chihuahua mix.
Whilst Shylo gets on well with all sized dogs she must be rehomed with another small, calm dog in the home environment. As the photos show she is currently living in a foster home with several other animals including cats who she gets along well with even sharing their meal occasionally if they permit her.
Shylo has come from a home with many, many dogs where she would not have got much one on one attention and she seeks human affection. It is therefore important that she go to a home where she will be given the love and attention she deserves.
Shylo would suit a home where her new owners wanted to make her part of their lives as much as possible although she is ok being left alone for a short period of time she always greets her carer with a happy dance when they come home.
More of a companion dog than a throw the ball to a dog Shylo has been enjoying her time with her foster carers getting to know the other animals and learning that life isn't purely spent sitting on our lap.
Shylo isn't pickie on who she hangs around with when it comes to humans one is as good as the other.
She does seem to be rather cozy with cats and is often found laying up against them .
Shylo hasn't been seen playing with the dog toys but she will have sudden random playful bouts of run around the house madness .
She is house trained and non-food aggressive often seen eating with another.
A home where daily walks and outings to off-leash parks/beaches is a must in her new home. Shylo has had a trip to the local dog beach where she had an absolute ball and loved the water. Shylo will need to build up her fitness as she did not get to go out in her previous home but is certainly making up for lost time now.
Of course, a home where Shylo is permitted inside at all times, on furniture is a must and one where she is permitted to sleep in the bedroom would be preferred. Shylo does enjoy sitting on your lap watching television or sitting quietly beside you but also enjoys time outside in the sun so a home with a garden would be best.
When applying please make sure to send us the detailed information listed at the start of this profile
