Ginza was brought into the RSPCA as a pregnant, skinny and injured stray with a sweet nature. While she sadly lost all her babies whilst in foster care, she has recovered slowly but surely and is blossoming into an affectionate, if somewhat shy, young lady with a playful side that has just started to show itself. Ginza is not one to plonk herself on your lap, but she adores chin and ear rubs and once she has learnt to trust you she even enjoys an good tummy rub now and again. She really loves it if you sit with her while she eats, and if you sit on the floor with her she'll walk circles around you rubbing against you and demanding jaw scratches before she'll settle down, purring and kneading, eating her kibble. In her last week in foster care Ginza discovered the joy of playing with toys - particularly mouse shaped ones and bouncy toys on a string! In her very last day she found out how much fun racing around the house and in and out of the cat tunnel is! It may take her a while to show this side in her new (forever) home, but it will come if you are patient and loving with her. Ginza is a bit nervous around new people so would probably appreciate a quiet home, with windows she can lie in front of to look out on the world. She has not had the opportunity to meet other cats or dogs while in care. Ginza was named after the elegant shopping and entertainment district of Tokyo, which has a just slightly seedy history. If you are looking to welcome into your home a beautiful, sweet cat who has overcome her unfortunate start in life, Ginza might be your girl.
