ππ MEET MALIN AND WAFFLE ππ
Perth Rescue Angels present a once in a lifetime opportunity to adopt two of the most beautiful sisters you will ever meet! We may be a little shy to start with but we have come a long way since we were trapped in someone's garden, and we promise that once we've settled in our new home you will never want to be apart from us, as we will have stolen your heart.
When we first came into care we were separated as Malin, although just a kitten herself, was pregnant. Malin went to another foster home so she could have her kittens in safety and then look for her forever home.
Unfortunately, four of Malin's kittens didn't make it and the remaining two had to be removed to be hand reared as being so young Malin didn't produce any milk. Malin's two beautiful kittens have since thrived and gone on to find their forever homes.
After the birth, Malin became deeply withdrawn, confused with what had happened and very unhappy. Fortunately, it was decided to place them in one foster home to see if being together could help Malin. Thank goodness that happened because being back together, both of us have blossomed.
Strangely, Malin is now full of confidence and curiosity whilst Waffle is a little more reserved. Initially, Waffle was the safety blanket to Malin, but now Malin acts as her safety blanket which is why we are seeking a home together.
Nature
Both of us are shy, calm young ladies. We are happy chasing and playing with each other and love to curl up on a bed for a cuddle. We are young so love to play with cat toys. We love anything that involves chasing toys, the red dot, balls or feathers.
We are both very curious and like to keep an eye on things, like watching foster mum cleaning our litter trays - Malin's told me that foster mum collects our outgoings from the litter tray which is very strange, but to help foster mum I like to call to her when Iβm doing something for her collection because, well, I don't want her to miss out on my special deposit!!!! As foster mum keeps our litter tray clean we do our part by ensuring our toilet manners are purrfect!
Although we are both reserved Malin loves being stroked and just recently has allowed foster mum to rub her belly. Waffle is just beginning to allow strokes but is still a little wary. Both of us like to talk especially at dinner time, you'd think we were starved but being food orientated we are just letting foster mum know we are there and first in line for dinner. Malin likes to show off by rubbing herself against foster mum's legs at feeding time.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
We currently live with other cats and we are chilled about being with other friendly felines. We haven't met any dogs but being young and with a slow careful introduction we'd be fine sharing our home with one.
We currently live with a loud, boisterous four year old and Malin allows strokes from him but Waffle stays out of his way. So we'd be happy in a home with children ~ so long as they are gentle and want to play with us, then we'd get along just fine.
Likes / Dislikes
We love food, roast chicken is a winner and helped foster mum make friends with us in the beginning. We don't like being startled, if scared we may give a little hiss and shy away. We also like to have somewhere quiet that we can retreat to, foster mum has a cat bed in the corner of the lounge that we've claimed as our space! We both have access to a cat run so having a home that has safe access outside would be amazing.
Our PURR-fect home would be with a family willing to give us some time to settle in, that has plenty of time to shower us with love and lots of toys.
Medical notes
A home that has limitless food would be our dream but foster mum says thatβs not going to happen [she also called us cheeky!!!!!] ~ a beautiful family that feed us wet food a couple of times a day and in return we will learn to trust you and love you with all our hearts and become loving, playful members of your family.
As foster mum says we are cheeky we may as well ask.......... if you have room for two beauties, would you have room for three? We've created a beautiful throuple with another of the foster cats, her name is Girly [checkout her profile too]. We like to play and cuddle with her and we are so close we like to groom each other too. It may be a fairytale to be adopted all together but sometimes they do happen. Foster mum assures us the right home is out there for either the two or three of us. π»
Come and meet us..... but be prepared to have your heart stolen.
