Hi there, my name is Carimba! I was rescued by the Angels after living on the streets with my mum, Mandolin and my brother Banjo. Banjo was lucky enough to find himself a furever home, so it’s now my turn.

Nature
I’m a really timid girl who has taken longer getting used to this house cat thing. My foster mum is super patient with me which is great, she just lets me be. My foster home has a fully enclosed cat run that I have access to during the day so my favourite thing to do is go out there and find a cozy place to have a snooze. I will happily sit and watch my foster humans but if they move too close or make any sudden movements I will find a hiding place until I feel safe. I love other cats, most of the time I’ll be found playing or sleeping with one of my kitty friends.

Companions (Children/Cats/Dogs)
Carimba loves the company of other cats, her foster home has two doggos which she has seen through the screen door, and doesn’t seem bothered by them. She also lives with adults and older children which she’s okay with, she hasn’t met young children but with her being so shy she would be best suited to a home without young children.

Likes / Dislikes
Carimba doesn’t like loud noises, she will hide until she feels safe and it’s quiet. Carimba loves other cats so needs a home with a friend or two.

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet home with a feline friend or two to keep me company. It needs to be with a family who have a lot of patience and love, and who understands that they will need to give me space and time to settle in and feel safe.
