Cola And Dust Bunny

Cola and Dust Bunny are brothers and best friends. They're sweet, super playful and super cute!
They came into our care a month ago with their 4 siblings, straight from being garden kittens, and in a short time have become beautifully playful and happy little house cats! They still jump at loud, sudden noises, but they are totally fine with the vacuum cleaner so we think they're doing just fine.
Cola is black and sleek, and an absolute nut (thus his nickname, Cola Nut!). He plays like a wild thing, flinging himself around, having little chats with himself as he plays with a chair leg, or maybe an invisible fairy? He's very vocal, and was the first to let us know he wanted OUT of the playpen they were all safely contained in for the first week. He is obsessed with toys and loves carrying a soft ball around in his mouth. He has been known to growl in defence of a favourite toy even though not a single other kitten is nearby! Play time is wild time, but cuddle time is the sweetest with Cola. He loves to give face kisses, loves to flop into cuddling arms, and LOVES to snuggle up with his best bro Dust Bunny.
Dust Bunny is a lean, lanky boy who LOVES to play with Da Bird feather-on-a-stick toys. He will leap and flip around, and then catch it and try to take the whole thing away! He's the biggest of the bunch, and very independent but loves to play and snuggle with Cola and the rest. He's super curious and gets into any basket or box that seems like it might have toys in it, and loves running around. He has a lot of energy for play, but at sleep time he'll be in a cosy or sunny spot, and can very easily be convinced to have a nice cuddle with his humans. Scratch him in the right way and he'll curl into your hands and purr his little motor, blissfully relaxed.
Cola and Dust Bunny are happy, confident kittens and will be happy with any family! They haven't had a chance to meet a dog yet but we think they'd be happy to make friends with any cat-friendly fur-siblings. The boys are very confident so kids will be fine new family for them, as long as the kids know how to give kittens their space, and realise that play time can be hectic and to wait for sleepy time to get their hands involved! To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
