About Lucy Goosy
Hi my name is Lucy and if you're looking for a fun, playful, loving and friendly feline to complete your family home but you don't want the naughtiness that can come with a tiny kitten, then I'm your girl!!
I arrived in foster care on 14th January, heavily pregnant and a little concerned. It took me a few days to settle in as I was worried whether I'd have a safe place to give birth to my babies. My foster Mum did a great job offering me lots of different nesting areas to give birth however I chose to discard all the nice soft bedding and I gave birth in an empty box with her by my side, supporting me every step of the way.
My first baby was born at 11:14pm on the 18th (Lilly), my second baby was born at 12:02am on the 19th (Lucas) and my last baby was born at 12:38am on the 19th of January (Lacey). It was a long night but my foster Mum held my hand/paw the entire time and I felt safe & loved.
When I not mothering my 3 beautiful babies I love to play! In fact I play just like a kitten! Running, jumping and making cute little noises whilst chasing the ribbon wand around. My other favourite toy is ping pong balls! They are a hoot! I love it if you bounce them or throw them. I chase them down and grab them with my front paws and throw them up in the air and chase them again.
As well as being super playful, I'm extremely loving! I absolutely adore attention! Receiving loving pats and scratches under my chin are the best thing ever! My favourite place to receive scratches is at the base on my tail. Oooooohhh yeah, it feels sooooo good! I also enjoy getting brushed and I allow my foster Mum to give me a manicures & pedicures (nail trims). I also love to talk and have little chats with you. I make the cutest little noises when I want your attention too.
I know you're reading this & thinking, wow, this lady sounds purrfect and you know what, I almost am. The only challenge you'll find with me is, I dislike other adult cats so unfortunately I require a single cat family where I'll rule the roost. On the plus side though, I absolutely adore my foster families little dog. I rub all over her and lick her face. I even play chasey with her down the hallway. So if you have a friendly dog, I might make a great companion as long as they like to play and snuggle and they aren't intimidated by a strong, independent woman.
If I sound like the purrfect lady to join your loving family and you're willing to keep me safe indoors and pamper me with all the love in the world, then pretty please apply to adopt me today. I promise you won't regret it.
