CARMAR are very happy to announce that our sweet little Amy is now ready for adoption.

Gorgeous Amy was reluctantly surrendered into CARMAR care because her owner had passed away.

So we are now looking for a similar household environment for Amy to transition into.

After a thorough Veterinary examination Amy was found to have ALD.
She is currently perfectly able bodied, absolutely loves her twice daily walks around town.
But eventually may need surgery and or medication to alleviate any pain she may suffer because of this Deformity.
An alternative to surgery is to push Amy around in a 'dog pram' to keep her active and socialised.
Amy is other dog friendly, but as a terrier breed is not a fan of cats or small furry pets.

Amy loves car rides, sleeping on your bed and generally hanging out with HER human.
She can get territorial, so this is currently being monitored with positive reinforcement techniques.

Amy enjoys family gatherings,mainly for the treats and titbits! (with older kids that understand she is an old dog and may snap if played with)

All Amy needs now is a loving home with the right people who can continue her DAILY training routine AND socialisation.

Amy can show fear with people ,especially anyone who rushes or looms over her.

She is house trained, doggy door trained, excellent car traveller and is happy to stay inside all day with her pawfect human family.

All our CARMAR cats and Canines are fostered in private homes, so are used to the comings and goings ,noises ,smells and environments of a normal household. They are all desexed, michrochipped,vaccinated,wormed, flea free.
They are temperament tested,given basic training and are made an integral part of a family home lifestyle.
