About Bella and Coco
Are you wanting a pair of furbabies that will put a smile on your face with their antics and joy for life?
Introducing us - two cheeky happy loving girls are looking for their furever home together - they are bonded and will only be adopted together.
Bella is 10 years and 4 months old and Coco is 9 years and 4 months old and to reiterate we are a bonded pair of Maltese x Shih Tzu’s.
A couple of things our foster mum has said is important for you to know – we came from a townhouse complex where there was lots of noise and we were left home alone a lot – so even though we don’t mean anything by it we do bark a bit, so you would need to continue with our training while we work on this. The plus side is we are a great alarm system!
Because we are small white fluffy dogs we do like to be ‘those ones’ that means they would prefer someone who is home more often than not, works for home, is retired – you get the picture we are lap dogs!
We think we are a happy and loving pair of dogs that are easy to look after, we are company for each other and are happy to go on walks we love love love walks – did we mention we love walks and a car trip – I mean come on what girls don’t??
After a walk we are more than happy to just be around you getting pats and basically giving you lots of love and adoring stares (the force is strong with us!)
As we are that um mature age I think some people call it we would prefer to be in a home where the kids are over 12 years old – just think between kids running around – possibly screams or excitement and our barking it will be enough to drive any person to eat chocolate!
Oh yeah and it’s Coco here so I’m going to tell you something but you can’t let Bella know I dobbed – she is a bit possessive with human food when she ‘finds It’ – apparently leaving a bag of vegie crisps up on the bedside table is fair game for Bella and she left a trail of crisps so our foster mum knew where to look! I am a much better girl then Bella with food.
If you do go out for a small while to go get our food etc – it’s okay because when you get home we promise we will give you a welcome like you have been gone for a hundred years!
We do have coats that do require grooming so please keep this in mind when applying as it’s an ongoing expense – this is something that is not negotiable unless you want to tangled woolly sheep in your home!
We are both toilet trained
If you are looking for two gentle and affectionate companions and can offer a warm home, comfortable beds and plenty of love then please send through an adoption application. Bella and I are waiting!

If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.

Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
