About Buddy
What Buddy lacks in tail, he makes up for with heart! ❤
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: 23/11/2020
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Black
Location: Modbury
Buddy has no tail, just a little stub which we affectionately call his “nub nub”. We don’t know how Buddy came to be without a tail, or if he ever had one. He came to us like this and there were no signs of injury. Having a tail doesn’t bother Buddy in the slightest! He’s a lively, sweet and incredibly loving little boy.
Buddy wants to share every part of your life (especially dinner) and he sings for his supper too! 😺 Buddy constantly wants affection, and loves to sit on your lap. He’s a true lovebug and he will be a devoted and loyal man cat.
-People describe me as: Wants to share every part of your life
-How am I with dogs? Ok with the small dog in the foster home
-How am I with other cats? Great! I love to romp with other cats!
-How am I with kids? Good– I live with a baby in my foster home, and I think she’s ok
-My purrfect home is: Anywhere I’m given LOTS of love and attention and food! ❤
Buddy’s adoption fee is $180 which includes desexing, microchipping, parasite prevention, and initial F3 vaccination.
Medical notes
Buddy has no tail. The vet cannot tell if this was a birth defect or the result of trauma, but there are no signs of injury and no negative medical implications as a result of not having a tail.
Adoption details
The adoption process is very easy - simply find a kitty that steals your heart and contact us!
Other Information:
Kittens and cats are adopted via home adoptions. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact SACR via phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet 'n' greet with their selected kitten or cat.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are NO desexing contract adoptions (except in the case of cryptorchid kittens).
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten who has not reached weight for desexing. Kittens and cats remain in the care of SACR until desexing has occurred.
