There is very little about our lovely Solange that is ordinary. For starters, there are the ginger flecks and white patches that adorn her tabby coat. She wants everyone to know that she is no ordinary tabby with an ordinary tabby coat. No way!

Solange was born in our care when we took her pregnant mumma cat in so she has grown up knowing her mother’s love. This has given her the confidence to be her authentic self – and that self is outgoing, playful and super athletic.

Solange’s gymnastic prowess has to be seen to be fully appreciated. She will quite literally stand tall on her back legs to play with her favourite toy. This vertical activity is an amazing feat of agility and strength – and it looks great on social media videos too!

Aside from her out-of-the-ordinary looks, Solange also has an unusual way of getting your attention. She likes to abseil up your legs! That’s why we think she will need a home with older children as she learns how to use her claws and learns how to be on her best behavior.

Solange has a big beautiful purr that is absolutely adorable. She will happily sit on your lap when she is in the right mood, otherwise you will find her bounding around the house like an Olympic athlete.

Because she has grown up around cats of all different ages and a dog, Solange is very social with other pets and she would fit in well with an existing pet if introduced slowly. This is one confident kitty who will bring a lot of joy and good energy to the home.
