About Benson
Benson (Ben or Benny) is a one and half year old male American Staffy. Benson is an excitable young man with a lot of energy to expend and a keen attitude to learn new things. He would need to be the only pet in the home so he has all the love and treats to himself!
Benny will need a loving, patient and active family to teach him how to be the best boy he can possibly be and in return he he has all the love in the world to offer - what more could you ask for
Benson likes:
All people big and small, toys and playing games of tug, treats, affection and brushes, exercise and long walks, the beach, water of all sorts, digging and hiding his toys, long lasting chews, mental stimulation toys, zooming to greet his humans.
Benson is uncomfortable with:
Loud sudden noises, garden hoses, other dogs, cats, large moving objects, being bored.
Benson is good at:
Sit, wait, shake, down, come (recall), look (eye contact), being a quick and keen learner, being comfortable around new humans.
Benson needs:
A patient and loving family who will provide him with ongoing training and teach him how to be calm, comfortable and have good doggy manners. Secure fencing and sufficient shade and he gets hot easily. An active family able to give him the exercise and fun he needs. To be the only pet in the home so he can have all the love to himself. Mental stimulation to keep him entertained, specially when left alone for extended periods of time.
