About Nala and Salem
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
A pair of bonded beauties, Nala (female) and Salem (male) are classic lap cats who adore human company! Constantly seeking out their foster career for cuddles, this cutesome twosome spend their days snuggling in cosy spots, playing chase around the house, and keeping each other's glossy black coat well-groomed at all times :) Their striking elegant looks are just a bonus on top of their gorgeous dispositions!
Like all Maggie's pets, Nala and Salem are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: With our gentle and loving temperaments, we're the purrfect pair for pretty much any type of home! We'd fit right in to a household with kids, friendly resident cats, or maybe even a nice dog!
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: Variable! While we're mostly calm and cuddly, we're also still kittens at heart and enjoy a wholehearted race and rumble every now and then. We keep each other occupied and don’t demand play time from our foster carer - but we're always excited when she gets in on the game!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: We have experience living with children, and we loved them!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We currently live with two resident cats at our foster home, who we've happily cuddled up to from the first introduction! Though we haven’t interacted with dogs before, we'd likely tolerate a friendly dog sibling given our relaxed natures.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
