About Maxi
G’day, my name is Maxi. I’m 18 months old, not much chop as a worker although I do totally love to herd. I’m also awesome as a snuggly companion, foster mum says Expert Level.
I’m from a country background and the big city noises are fine with me. I am learning everyday how to be the goodest boy, I am great at sitting, can walk really well on lead and just love walks with loads of sniffing. I’m great at a dog park where I can stretch out the legs. I get along just fine with all dogs, foster mum says I’m super chill but if there is a runner at the park, I’ll be chasing and herding. I’m happy with my own company but as I’m just a young fella, another dog as a mate who is up for a play would be great.
I am crate trained for car travel and sleeping at night, have gotten used to the comforts of being an inside doggo really quick and I love it. Got the walking, snoozing, smooching bit totally down pat. I am still young, happy and clever enough to learn new tricks. If you have high expectations of getting a working dog, move along cause that’s not something that interests me at all. My life is all about my humans and me, leisure and love, that’s where I see us.
I see myself living as a house dog in a suburb or country town with a humans who want me to be a part of their every moment. I’m ok at home by myself as long as the house yard fencing is good. I want to spend time with you and some kids, yeah, kids would be awesome. I just want to be your good boy and share our time together without too much fussing. A bit more training and a couple of good walks a day and we will be the best buddies.
If you think I am the doggo for you, please get your application in now.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
