Possum ~ 2 year old (On Trial 18/03/21)

Possum is a big, beautiful 2 year old lady looking for the perfect forever home. She is a stunning girl with gorgeous, fine, fluffy hair with a down-like undercoat which makes us think she may have some Ragdoll in her.

Possum came into care a little unsettled and stressed but her foster carer has been giving her time and gentle encouragement and now we are seeing the true Possum coming out of her shell.

She is sweet, affectionate and is lapping up the attention she is now getting. She will show her appreciation with head rubs and rubbing her body against your legs. We feel she is definitely a cuddle bug with the understanding that it is on her terms AND it will take time.

We feel Possum is best suited to house without any other cat there are currently two other cats in her foster home and Possum is rather stressed by this. She did live with another cat in the past though and with dogs. She was also from a family with children but we think she would be best in a household with older children or empty nesters, maybe somewhere a little quieter.

She has found the change coming into care a little bit much so we want to ensure her next home is the perfect one for her. Please be aware it may take a short period of time for Possum to adjust beut we do know Possum will make someone very happy.

Possum will have to be an inside girl only unless you have a cat enclosure. She is located in Elermore Vale NSW with her carer.
