About Lizzie and Lucy
Lizzie and Lucy are two gorgeous older ladies who are ready to find their forever home. Lizzie is the more laid back of the two, while Lucy is grateful for Lizzie's company as she sometimes jumps at sudden noises and will seek refuge in her igloo or by Lizzie's side in all her teddy bear fluff. These two girls love their lettuce and are brilliant hay eaters. Being older, their new parents will need to keep a close eye on their weight and belly, Lizzie especially, as female piggies can be prone to ovarian cysts as they get older and can often be missed if you don't weigh them or handle them regularly. Could you be these lovely ladies furever home and shower them with love and affection?
Lizzie and Lucy must be adopted together as they are a bonded pair. Being over four years young, they would be considered as seniors. The lifespan of a guinea pig is five to seven years; however with good care and nutrition they have been known to live a lot longer.
