Like her name suggests, Butterscotch is as sweet as sugar! This exceptionally pretty girl is a treat all wrapped up in the most amazing ginger, tabby and white blend fur that you’re likely to ever see.

Butterscotch came into our care as a pair with her sister Toffee (also listed on Pet Rescue). Of the two, Butterscotch is a little more independent than her sister, and she will often find a spot all on her own to enjoy some “me time” to kitten nap by herself.

Butterscotch will happily amuse herself to play but she does also like to play with her sister. This pretty girl would be fine to be adopted alone or with Toffee.

Although she has her independent streak, Butterscotch loves to come over and spend time with you and give you lots of kisses. Always happy to greet you when you come home and she is a very sweet, well behaved girl.

Butterscotch has a very loud purr and makes cute little noises when she sleeps. She also loves to carry her toys around in her mouth, which is hilarious.

Butterscotch would suit a home where her people understand that she does like some quiet alone time occasionally. She gets along well with her foster carers older cats however she is untested on dogs. With the right slow and careful introductions we feel this girl would get along well with a small, cat-friendly dog.

As she is quite an active kitten who has been used to living in a home where she has plenty of room to run about, Butterscotch is not suited to inner-city apartment living. She would also fare better in a home with older children or those who have had experience with cats.
