About Dusty
Hey there! I’m Dusty, a happy, 8 year old, kelpie cross girl with a lovely shiny black coat, who loves spending time with my humans.
I am a friendly girl, who enjoys saying hello to the neighbours through the fence and greeting all human visitors, young and old. I am a little cautious when meeting new dogs, though I get on really well with the two resident dogs at my foster home. I love going for a daily walk and my tail never stops wagging when I am out and about. For the rest of the day I am happy to potter around in the garden or snooze in a comfy spot close to company. My favourite time of the day has to be the evenings when I get to cuddle up with the humans while they watch tv.
I am toilet trained and crate trained and travel well in the car. I have learnt to “sit” and I know what “off’ means. I have made good progress walking on a lead, especially if it is not too noisy or busy. I am working hard on “stay” and “wait” and coming when I am called.
I would be suited to a home where I was the only dog or where there was a friendly doggy sibling for me to play with. My ideal family would include me in their daily lives, be home a lot of the time, and be willing to continue with my training.
I am ready and looking forward to finding my forever family. If I sound like the perfect dog for you, please apply now.
I can’t wait to meet you. xxx Dusty

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
