Mae

Pretty Miss Mae is a tricolour Kelpie, born in December 2019. She is 15 months old.

Mae is in urgent need of a new home. Her current owners have inadequate fencing so poor Mae spends most of her time on a chain.

True to Kelpie breed, Mae is affectionate, mild-mannered, intelligent and eager to learn and please. However, in her short life she has had very little training and socialisation, so her new family will need to provide love, guidance and direction as Mae sets about being the best dog she can be.
Her natural Kelpie instincts and temperament provide her with the raw materials needed to be an excellent canine companion or family pet.

Mae loves to play ball. She is not accustomed to walking on a lead, although being a clever kelpie girl, there's no doubt she will learn to do so easily.

Understandably, she takes a little time to warm to new people and new dogs, but once bonded, she will be your devoted companion for life.

We are looking for a home where Mae is an integral part of the family. She has had enough of solitary life in the backyard and needs to be an inside-outside dog. She craves human company and interaction.

The ideal home for Mae is one where her humans are home most of the time. She'd be just as happy in a single dog home as a multi-dog home, as long as her humans are there for her. Prior experience with Kelpies will be viewed favourably.

Mae is dog-friendly, but is untested with cats and small children.

Mae is desexed, microchipped, wormed and vaccinated and her adoption fee is $595.
