Aoife is a sweet, calm, affectionate lady who LOVES people and naps. She shows a good balance of both suspected breed mixes. She is loyal and friendly, but isn’t afraid to bring out her Sarplaninac stubbornness when she wants to!

Aoife is happy to spend her days lazing about and playing with her toys, and is particularly fond of her Kong...but you will see her most pure joy when she starts tippy-tapping as you get her leash out. She loves her daily walks and walks nicely beside you on the lead, always making sure to sniff and inspect every single blade of grass along the way.

Although she has lived with dogs previously, we think she will be best as the only pet in your family. Aoife has shown some leash reactivity towards other dogs and will need to go to a home who is committed to continue her training with this.

She has been working on staying calm on walks while wearing her Halti and has shown fast progression. Luckily, she is treat motivated and easily redirected so we are confident that with a little patience she will improve her calmness and confidence.

Aoife is fully house trained, and can sit, stay, shake and drop. She waits very patiently for her food and will go to her bed when you ask her. She is quite independent, but likes to keep an eye on her humans and absolutely loves to cuddle up at the end of the day.
