About Navajo
Navajo is one hunka gorgeous boy!
This sweet boy is a lovely big doofus that is both chilled out and playful. Currently living with 2 other dogs, he loves playing chasies around the yard, tug o war and a good game of bitey face (and legs!). He's always up for play time and then likes to crash out and snooze the day away.
Navajo came into care with literally no training or manners. He started off being quite jumpy and has now learnt not to jump, how to sit and is toilet trained. Depending on what you want from a dog, will depend on what you will still need to do. He can be a project for someone very interested in training, or just allowed to chill out and be a dog.
As a Mastiff mix, he's not the fastest or best learner and has a bit of a don't care attitude but he makes up for lack of smarts with his abundance of gorgeousness!! Lovely with other dogs, Navajo has no food or toy aggression or guarding and will happily share toys and food (sharing food usually means others sharing with him!!), he sleeps well at night and preferably in your bed if allowed.
He is fine with car travel and will usually lay down and sleep. The lounge is his favourite place to hang out, so will make a great movie buddy and cuddle monster.
Super loyal to his family, he will adore his family and follow you around. He's an amazing alert dog and with his deep bark, would scare most people away.
Navajo is still a work in progress and needs someone committed to ensuring he becomes the best version of himself. He has potential as all the important stuff is already there.
We will be looking for a large breed experienced family that adore big, goofy boofheads, like a lower energy dog and loads of snuggles. We feel he would best suit a home with another larger, playful dog at home for company and a family around more often than not.
He needs to be an integral family member, taken out on family adventures, given loads of love and be an inside sleeper. Navajo has a lot of love and loyalty to give, if you feel you're the family that deserves this smooshy face boy, go to our Fetching Dogs website and fill in the adoption enquiry form.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
