About Brin DL2628
Brin is a sweet, affectionate, and playful dog. He is just gorgeous and is so ready to find a home of his own.
Brin loves playing and throwing his toys around. He thoroughly enjoys a good game of fetch. And- even though he's the tug o' war champion, he's a good sport and will let you win occasionally!
Basic cues are no trouble for Brin; he's a clever boy and already knows sit, down, stay & shake. He's loving and loyal and likes to be right by your side, he'll even be there for moral support when you have to investigate weird noises in the night.
Before we met young Brin, he had a run-in with the wrong crowd (we suspect he was trying to make friends) and he was attacked. Understandably, this resulted in fear based reactivity towards other dogs & a heavy attachment to his fave human.
He spent 3 weeks living with our dog trainer while working on recall, crate training, and those doggy social skills. We're looking for a single person who has the patience and confidence to continue this good work at home, with the support of our trainer.
Ideally, Brin is after a spacious property with lots of room to sniff and explore. He is best suited to being your only dog at home, and he hasn't yet met cats. He will happily keep himself entertained while you go to work, but is also content to curl up by your feet or in his bed when you work from home.
Brin is looking for a foster home, or better yet, his forever home. You can foster him with the view to adopt once he settles in. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply.
