Morissey just absolutely loves being around people and having his belly rubbed, with a few treats thrown in. Morissey is your typical big, lovable and big softy staffy. He is large in size but just loves to have cuddles and pats. He does love his food, and is very treat driven.

He walks well on a lead and loves to explore his surroundings. We have not met a cat, and wild birds don't bother him.

He has recently realised that a clam pool full of water is actually great on these hot days, as he never used to like water.

He is obedient with basic commands. He loved having a foster sister where he rolled around with her, run around the backyard and hide from her. He would benefit from having another dog and benefit from having a big backyard so he can run around. He likes to help mow by walking with you while you mow. He isn't much of a barker but at night will investigate if he hears something out of the norm.

Morissey does like to relax in the sun and have his own time. He does need toys to occupy him if left for long periods as sometimes he will find something to play with if he's bored and it may not be a toy.

He has slept in a crate which has been outside. He is a bit nervous about being inside the house. Small bursts does him wonders and he will only improve with consistent continued support.

He is great with kids, but doesn't understand he is quite big and may accidentally bump them so older children would be ideal.
