About Benji (DL2620) & Teddy (DL2621)
Benji is a 14 year old Jack Russell Terrier X and Teddy is a 15 year old Terrier Mix. Benji and Teddy are currently in temporary care, but are looking for longer term foster care or a forever home.
These two are just the cutest and they love being around their people! Their ideal home would be one where someone is home more often than not so they could spend their days following their humans around and hanging out on the couch. We were told both boys are house trained, but have noticed they do have some accidents, so you'll need to be patient with them as they settle in.
The boys are looking for a quieter home, without children, although teens may be ok as long as they give the boys some space when they want it. All Benji and Teddy want to do is sit back and relax. They’d also enjoy the opportunity to go out for a gentle stroll every now and then so they can check out the news from the neighbourhood. They aren't suited to a place with cats.
Can you help these lovely older boys see out their retirement in comfort? If so, please email dflrescue@gmail.com today to apply to foster Teddy and Benji!
Medical notes
Teddy has a heart murmur and requires a dental. Necessary medical costs will be covered by the rescue while the dogs are in foster care.
