Lulu ~ 8mo Staffy X Mastiff(On Trial 18/06/21)

Lovable Lulu is a friendly natured, energetic young lady. She is a 10mth old staffy x mastiff who is searching for a family/owner that will understand and work with her because she is a playful puppy in a big dog’s body, which sometimes causes dogs like Lulu to be overlooked, and she doesn’t deserve to be overlooked.

Lulu is a seriously clever girl and will benefit from you actively teaching her some cool new tricks. She is extremely driven by food so teaching her some new tricks will not be hard at all. Mental stimulation and training will help calm her energy, so it would be a win, win for everyone. Although Lulu has high energy at times, she definitely knows how to settle and relax. Lulu loves playing catch and running with other dogs. She will need to be walked daily and does walk well on a lead, but is a bit scared when cars go past. She is a real sociable gal and adores humans and other friendly dogs.

At night, there is nothing more that Lulu loves than cuddling up with you on the lounge, so prepare yourself for full body cuddles and lovingly stares that guilt you into it. Lulu is in foster care with another dog and would ideally be matched with another medium sized, playful
doggy friend to keep her entertained as she is used to and enjoys having company. It would be ideal for Lulu to be with someone who has some time at home during the day. As well as being in care with other dogs and her adult humans, Lulu is also living with a young child. Whilst she is great with children, Lulu can be a bit jumpy with excitement and energy, so she is probably best suited to older children.

Lulu is used to both inside and outside environments in which to run, play and chill in, so she will need access to both in her new home. If she has another doggy friend or gets well exercised in the morning, Lulu will be ok outside for part of the day, but 6ft secure fencing is still necessary and important to keep Lulu safe.

Lulu is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and her adoption fee is $500
Any potentially successful applicant for Lulu will need to ensure that all household/family members – adults, children and dogs will be available to meet Lulu in order to find her the perfect home. Lulu is currently in care in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
