ABOUT JIMMY

Jimmy here, or Jimbo Jones as I'm known by my foster family! I'm a dachshund cross staffy, and only a pup at 7 months old.

I would really love my new family to invest the time in me, and take me to some obedience classes and some socialisation.

I love other dogs as long as they are calm and respectful, I'm very submissive and shy at first, but I do warm up after a few days. My foster mum has two frenchies and they are pretty crazy - a bit much for me, they like to get up in my face! My foster mum says they have no boundaries. Now, I've never met a cat but I think I would be okay with a slow introduction!

I get so excited that I do love to jump on my humans, and I can jump high because I am a super long (I am a sausage after all!). My foster parents are teaching me that this isn't good, and I am learning, slowly. Ongoing training will help me.

I know my name, most of the time but I need to improve on my recall. I'm just a pup so I have lots of time to learn!

Jimmy would not be suited to small children under 10 at this stage, due to his jumping.
