My name is Angel and my foster parents think I am one. A true golden oldie, with typical retriever traits. I love water, food, my humans and am one happy lady.

I will give so much joy to my forever family. This being said I have a few requirements for my perfect match. I’m on a special diet for my weight and joints, it is important for my new home to keep me on track and continue to provide a healthy lifestyle. A home who is willing to groom me regularly, especially in the humid weather as I have been prone to hot spots and my foster mum is forever removing grass seeds from my coat.

I love chilling inside with the aircon on hot days, but am otherwise happy inside and outside. I hope my forever family likes long walks on the beach and swimming in the creak as I sure do.

I would be best as an only dog, or with another dog who respects my age and boundaries. My foster brother is still a puppy and he can get a bit much for me. I am a grand old lady after all.

And who says you can’t teach an old girl new tricks! I have beautiful manners and know basic commands although I’m still learning to walk on a lead without pulling so will need patience and further training with this.

I might be a little higher maintenance than your average dog, but will reward my special someone/s with love and devotion. I would love to spend my best years with you.
