About Peanut
Peanut is a sweet little fellow who loves attention.
He is fine with other dogs but prefers human company. One of his rear legs has been damaged in the past, and he now has a "frozen" kneecap. This means Peanut uses the leg sometimes and other times he doesn't. Either way, he gets around quite easily.
Peanut will need to meet all family members, including any current dogs, before he goes to a new home. Fox terriers are active and intelligent, so whoever adopts this cute little guy will need to be able to give him lots of exercise and fun things to do. Given his breeding, he would do best in a home with no cats or pocket pets. He can be excitable around young children so his ideal home should be one with children aged 12 or over.
Peanut is a serious cuddle bug. He will need a home where he has company most of the time.
Peanut has had minimal training, so further training would help him meet his full potential.
Peanut has had some rough times in his life, but he is a happy, trusting boy with lots of love to give.
This sweet and lovable little man is available for adoption in NSW and the ACT. He is staying at Narooma.
Medical notes
Peanut has a fused stifle on his left rear leg. It is the result of an old injury, and causes him to use the leg only intermittently.
