ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS -- CHILDREN CONSIDERED (8+) -- NO OTHER CATS, A DOG CONSIDERED -- INDOORS ONLY

Lovely Nelson made his way into the shelter as a stray a number of weeks ago, and he was a bit worse for wear. Nelson suffered from some nasty wounds that have since been treated and are healing well. Nelson has proven to be quite a sweet boy since his arrival, preferring a lap to the very decked out bed in his cage. He is very affectionate, people orientated and seems indifferent to other cats although, given his injuries, this may be a different story out of the shelter in his own space. Because of this we recommend that Nelson be an only cat in his new home, although he could possibly be introduced to a cat friendly dog. Nelson would like a family who can help him return to his handsome self (his coat leaves a lot to be desired at the moment), and give him as much love as he gives to them.
