About Edward and Sugar Plum
I’m Edward, the handsome tabby and white and the pretty lady on my left is my best friend Sugar Plum.
We’ve grown up together in foster care and we are now ready to take on the world as a bonded duo.
I’m a confident boy who loves to get pats and cuddles. I like to be part of the action at all times. Sugar Plum is a little bit quieter than me, she likes to get pats on her terms but she purrs like a motor when she’s happy. I help boost her confidence a lot, which is why we are looking for a home together.
Sugar Plum has a condition called Pectus Excavatum, sounds a bit like a Harry Potter spell, but it’s a congenital abnormality affecting her sternum. She’s had x-rays and assessments by the lovely orthopaedic vets at Lort Smith and they have said she doesn’t need surgery which is great and they have given her the all clear to find a forever family. The staff will be able to discuss her condition with you in more detail when you come to meet us. Her growth and breathing will need to be monitored closely by our new family in case of any changes.
We are seeking a safe strictly indoor only home, preferably one with no young children please.
We have lived with dogs before and wouldn’t mind sharing our home with a calm cat friendly doggo if there’s one already in the family.
We are very playful and love toys, particularly ping pong balls and anything we can practice our hunting skills on!
If you have room in your family for a dynamic duo like us, please contact the Lort Smith Adoption Hub.
