About Pippy
Pippy entered Cartmills Animal Rescue from a NSW pound. He was surrendered to council by whom we can only presume was his owner. We have no history of this little dog. What we did know was he was in terrible condition, scared and anxious of everything and no doubt in so much pain with the matting beyond belief. Fight or flight mode, he chose fight. After a great deal of love, time and vet work, Pippy is becoming a lovely boy who is learning new commands each week. So much so, that he will be available for adoption soon.
Pippy will be suited to someone who is home often and wanting a loving loyal companion. Several meet n greets will need to occur to build new bonds. Preference will also go to a home with no other pets (Although he is going great now with the resident dogs here, new pets take slow introductions).
Subject to adoption application and homecheck. First in best dressed does not apply here as we are solely seeking the best person for Pippy.
Medical notes
Pippy does take time and needs support meeting new people. Once he bonds though, he is a happy and loving little guy.
Pippy's desexing required additional surgery and has healed nicely now.
