Meet beautiful Cookie,

Not only does this boy look like a big serving of cookies and cream, but he is also just as sweet as his name.

Cookie, unfortunately, came in severely underweight, very frightened, and unsure of his surroundings. A lead and a collar were nothing but foreign objects to him which he would backflip hysterically to get out of. The word sit was nothing but a strange sound and coffee tables looked like great objects to walk over.

Skip forward to a couple of weeks later, and Cookie has astonished everyone with his growth and development.
Cookie now enjoys going on his bushwalks every morning along with his foster sister. Cookie still doesn't like his collar but is very happy to walk and parade in his bright blue harness.

Cookie, being what looks like a heeler X whippet, is fast and FULL of energy. On days where his foster family can, they try to walk/jog him twice a day to burn off a bit more energy. He is very lucky to have his foster sister to play with. When they are not sleeping or eating they are running around chasing each other for hours on end.

Still a bit on the wild side, Cookie would really excel with some home and obedience training. He likes to jump up and pop his head up to see what's happening on tables and he loves to jump up to give you a kiss. These things can be easily corrected with consistent training.

Picking up 'sit' and how to walk on his lead within a few days, we are confident in saying Cookie will be a fast learner.

Cookie is super human-friendly and loves everyone he meets. He is also great with dogs but occasionally can be a little growly and unsure on the first meeting. However, this hasn't stopped him from eventually becoming friends with every dog he has met.
