About Daisy
Please let us introduce you to our little bulldozer, I mean bulldog :-)
Daisy is an 11 month old Aussie Bulldog who is just amazing! She is a happy go lucky love bug!
Daisy came into care and had a large amount of vet work completed – the poor baby girl was not only given her up-to-date vaccinations and desexing – but she also had cherry eye surgery, terrible ear infections and a tail amputation.
Our beautiful Daisy bounced back from her surgery after a few days and was a dream patient (I know surprised us too – who know a bulldog could be a dream patient??)
Daisy is an amazing girl who is a bit of a love bug to her humans – she loves to do her zoomies when you get home and will make you smile just seeing her happy face.
Daisy is currently in a foster carers home that does work all day and Daisy is okay with this – however she would never object to her new mum or dad working from home.
Daisy is awesome with kids and so gentle with them – adults she can forget that they don’t do bounce as easily especially if playing on the bed with them but she will give you a wrinkly smoosh face cuddle after to say oops!
Anyone who meets her says she’s a laugh and a half – she is a super happy funny little girl who loves everyone and everything – like a true bulldozer, I mean bulldog she has no concept of space and will happily snooze on you, over you or under you.
Now we know that her cuteness alone is a seller but we do have to advise she is not a huge fan of other dogs – the rescue is not sure if this stemmed from her tail been so painful prior to her surgery or if she had a bad experience previously – she is okay meeting dogs on a lead but not a fan if they are not and definitely will snap at them if they try and sniff her butt – so the rescue does believe she will need to be an only dog.
Daisy would very much like to be a part of any family she’s with – and especially if you are happy to have cuddles and play time on the bed with her, she would love that!
Daisy has not been tested around cats.
Daisy is a girl who enjoys the luxury of an indoor life and have great indoor manners. She does like to spend some time outside doing her thing so she would like to have the best of both worlds - inside and outside access when she wants – remembering that she is a bulldog so must have access to air conditioning at all times.
