About Dexter
Did those eyes melt you? Say hi to Dexter .... A Husky born on 16th January, 2020, Dexter is looking forward to finding his forever home.
Dexter has a super sweet personality and he adores back scratches and cheek rubs!
He is a super smart boy and can even remember his way back home after a walk - so there is no fear of getting lost! He has super nice lead manners and is happy to walk along next to you.
Dexter can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but with patience and gentleness, he soon comes around and will be snuggling up to you in no time.
He shows no signs of food aggression and although he does not seem to be bothered by loud noises, we would recommend he be allowed inside during thunder storms and fireworks where he knows he is safe.
Dexter enjoys making new doggy friends and he gets along well with other dogs, both big and small. It would be best if he was not rehomed with cats or pocket pets in residence.
Dexter is looking for a home who have experience with the husky breed. Although he will require a medium level of exercise, his grooming needs are extensive and he needs very secure fencing.
Dexter is such a happy and affectionate guy, who with patience, training and consistency would make a super loyal and perfect companion for the right family. He would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and involved in the day to day activities. Dexter will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Dexter's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please give the facility a call on 43044350 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once all of your questions have been answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in. Please bring to your appointment photos of your fencing also showing all gates that attach to the house.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
